Description
When you try a pair of shoes regardless of model, you are struck by how light they are. A pair of Luddan Low size 36 weighs about 650 g, size 39 about 800 g and size 45 about 920 g. Shaft height (from the insole to the top) is for size 36 about 14 cm, 39 about 16 cm and 45 about 17 cm.
Our shoes are a wider than a regular shoe. If you have a narrower foot, you often need one or even 2 extra soles. You do not lose much in length (approx. 1-2 mm), the shoe becomes tighter around the foot. Choose a size smaller for the extra sole (easier to get in) and place it under the molded sole
A sock on the foot contributes to a better fit.
Material
Our wool felt consists of 70% wool and 30% polyester.
We use Vibrams Newflex 10mm sole on our shoes. For our children’s shoes we use 8mm Vibram Newflex.
Our leather items are made from naturally tanned cowhide from Tärnsjö.

Take care of your shoes and they will last for many years.
- Dry your shoes at room temperature
- Lubricate with leather grease from time to time.
We are often asked if our shoes resist moisture. Alla our shoes has a 10 mm Vibram sole. From the sole and up over the galoshing, it is then just over 4 cm (3 cm children). If you walk in water that is higher than 4 cm, shoes will get wet, but since they are made of wool, they will not get cold. The wool warms even when it gets wet.
